650 CKOM Talk Show Content Producer – Saskatoon

Are you a creative thinker? A news, politics and pop culture junkie? Have you always dreamed of rolling out of bed at the crack of dawn in order to spend the rest of the day creating content that’ll get people talking?

Make your mark with 650 CKOM / 980 CJME as a talk show content producer. In this role, you will be responsible for research, prep, writing show segments, and booking guests for Saskatchewan’s most influential radio stations.

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

C95, Rock 102, and News Talk 650 CKOM are looking for a full time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join the staff at Broadcast House! We are looking for self-motivated candidates that will enjoy working independently within a large office setting with a great team atmosphere!

The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills in the MS Office products especially Word and Excel
• Previous administrative experience is an asset
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention for detail
• Accuracy in data entry
• Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Confidence & maturity

The job will consist of a variety of clerical duties, including but not limited to:
• Answer a multi-line phone system
• Greet, assist, and direct clients, listeners, and other special guests
• Manage incoming & outgoing mail, couriers, and faxes
• Organize and facilitate prizing for listeners
• Preparing, editing, and proofreading proposals
• Creating various forms of correspondence including letters, emails, and memos
• Data entry into Microsoft Excel
• Reconciling orders
• Communicating with and assisting staff in all departments
• Establishing, updating, and maintaining filing systems

Web Editor/Reporter – Saskatoon/Regina

You want to tell stories, not re-write new releases.  You want to get out and talk to people, report from the scene as news breaks, feel that what you’re doing matters because you’re passionate about it.

You love radio but also think and embrace digital.

980 CJME Regina and 650 CKOM Saskatoon routinely win regional and national awards for among other things, breaking news coverage, feature reporting and best newscast.  Our teams range from decades of experience to journalists beginning their career. We’re hiring right now for a digital editor/reporter position in Regina and Saskatoon, but are always interested in hearing from anyone who shares our passion and is looking for a new opportunity.

The digital editor/reporter should be someone with a solid knowledge of CP style, experience writing and editing for web, active and engaged with social media and how it can be used to enhance our coverage and interaction with our audience.
Minimum two years experience required. Bonus points for experience on-air, anchoring/reporting.
