Show Producer – The Evan Bray Show – Regina

Some people like to be in front of the microphone. Others like to drive the process. Great talk shows don’t happen without talented, driven producers who oversee every aspect.

The Evan Bray Show is Saskatchewan’s leading province-wide talk show. It’s also a fairly new show. We’re searching for a full-time producer who can help take it to the next level.

You have an assignment editor’s brain; you’re plugged into the issues. You read op-ed pieces to relax.  You have epic organizing skills, some people might even consider you a bit bossy. You know it’s just that you like things done right.

The producer’s job is to find guests, topics and ways to frame debate to ensure the show is compelling, interesting and entertaining. The show covers everything from politics to social issues to pop culture. Great producers aren’t afraid to make cold calls and understand sometimes the show suddenly shifts to breaking news.

Understanding how to utilize social media to enhance the show’s reach, and provide content is important.

Previous producing experience would be an important asset.  A journalism degree is helpful, but most of all, you should be curious, driven and excited for a role that can be challenging and rewarding. This position is based in Regina, applicants must be able to work in Canada.

Rawlco Radio is a leading radio broadcasting company. We provide Saskatchewan with news and entertainment. With a commitment to quality programming, Rawlco Radio is dedicated to serving our local community.  Our News Talk stations are a go-to source for what’s happening, and have been honoured with numerous regional and national journalism awards.
